Enersok FE LLC was formed in 2022 through a strategic consortium consisting of EDF (France), Nebras Power (Qatar), Sojitz Corporation, and Kyuden International (Japan). This consortium entered into a public-private partnership to build and operate 1.6 GW Gas Combined Cycle Power Plant in Syrdarya region of Uzbekistan, with the agreement officially signed on February, 2022.
The main purpose of Enersok FE LLC is to manage the construction, operation, and maintenance of the power plant. Commercial operations are anticipated to commence in 2026. The electricity generated will be sold to the state-owned JSC UzEnergosotish (UES) under a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).
The plant will be one of the largest power generation facilities in Uzbekistan, significantly contributing to the country's ability to meet the growing energy demands of both its industrial and residential sectors. This project will play a key role in strengthening Uzbekistan's energy infrastructure, supporting long-term sustainability, and fostering economic development.
